St. Mary School offers no-cut athletic opportunities for all students in 5th-8th grade. Our school participates in the Aurora Catholic League. This allows us to play against other Catholic schools in our area. The league offers Co-ed soccer, boys and girls basketball, girls volleyball, and girls and boys track. We do participate in the IESA State Track Meet each year, too.
If our students would like to participate in football or wrestling, we do have a co-op with Huntley Middle School to allow our students to play on their school teams. Our sports program is only possible with our parent volunteers to help in coaching and working our home games.
All student athletes must maintain a certain GPA to continue playing sports. Student athletes must have a sports physical, concussion waiver, and fees paid prior to the first practice. To register and view more information, visit the our athletics website.
